The Fight For $30 Car Tabs

December 11, 2019

We voted for $30 car tabs. We were not misled, we knew exactly what we were voting for. The people who misled us were the people who won approval of this whole Sound Transit funding that raised our car tabs hundreds of dollars. This pretty much assured that seniors and low income drivers can never afford a newer car in Washington State.

Why aren’t the people making a fortune building homes and condos along the rail line paying for Sound Transit? I live on the other side of the county and not going to benefit from this light rail line. I need my car for grocery shopping and getting to the doctor, not to fund a rail line that does not benefit me.

Are they really going to make us vote for Tim Eyman for governor over this car tab issue?
